Slingshot recommends using only unleaded gasoline with a 91 pump octane minimum and a maximum ethanol content of 10 percent.
DO NOT USE E-85 GASOLINE OR GASOLINE CONTAINING ETHANOL. Using E85 or gasoline/ethanol blends can result in poor starting and driveability and may damage critical fuel system components.
Use of fuel other than the recommended fuel could result in engine damage and the voiding of your warranty.
