Model Year 2020 and Newer Slingshot
Model year 2020 and newer Slingshot models use a key fob. Contact your Polaris Dealer for assistance purchasing and programming your new key fob.
The glove box and storage bins on model year 2020 and newer Slingshots are accessed with a key. Storage key blanks are not available and if you misplace both original storage keys on a model year 2020 or newer Slingshot, you must replace the storage locks.
The lock replacement kit (part number 2636699) includes:
- Two storage keys
- Two storage bin locks
- One glove box lock
Model Year 2019 and Older Slingshot
Slingshot vehicles from model year 2019 and earlier use an ignition key. Key blanks can be cut to match an existing key. The replacement key blank is part number 5261286.
If you have lost both original keys, you must replace the ignition.
The ignition kit (part number 4014191) includes the following:
- A new ignition
- Two keys
- A glove box lock
- Two storage bin locks
