The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is a unique 17-digit number used to identify your Slingshot. It can be found on a label affixed to the frame on the driver's side of the vehicle, as shown below.
The VIN also can be found stamped to the vehicle's frame where the hood meets the area directly in front of the steering wheel, as shown below. It will be behind the base of the windshield, if your Slingshot is equipped with one.
In addition to the VIN, the label on the driver's side of the frame displays the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR), tire and wheel information, the date of manufacture and Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) information.
The engine identification number (1) of your Slingshot is stamped on a pad on the oil filter bowl. The number also can be found on the front and rear of the cam cover (2).
Record both your VIN and your engine identification number in the space provided in your Owner's Manual.
Use the VIN search tool to enter your VIN and find your vehicle's year, model, warranty status, safety bulletins and more.
