The coolant used in your Slingshot vehicle varies based on the engine.
Model year 2020 and newer Slingshot vehicles feature a ProStar engine. The required coolant for these vehicles is part number 2884538. The coolant color for ProStar engines is green/yellow.
Model year 2019 and older Slingshot vehicles feature an Ecotec® engine. The required coolant for these vehicles is part number 2879411. The coolant color for Ecotec® engines is pink/orange.
Note: Never mix coolant types. Mixing coolants may result in internal engine corrosion or contamination.
Always read product labels carefully before purchasing. Polaris coolants are labeled to indicate which engine they fit with, as shown below.
