Lubricants

Engineered to maximize the life of your Polaris Slingshot.
Polaris® invests millions in engine development, and part of that investment is making sure its lubricants—critical to engine performance—are the right formula for your specific engine.  Each Polaris lubricant is specially developed and engineering tested and approved to handle the varied conditions and high-performance requirements demanded by Polaris Slingshot Riders with both the Prostar 2.0L engine or the GM Ecotec 2.4L engine.

Custom Additive Systems: Polaris engineered additives are proprietary formulations designed to provide the best wear protection, reliability and component performance specific to each application.

Highest Quality Base Oils: Powersports grade high performance base oils provide the best protection from wear and oil breakdown in all conditions.  Slingshot SS-4 5W-30 and PS-4 5W-50 engine oils use full synthetic base oils to provide high temp, high load, high RPM protection that improves long term engine durability.
