Is the Slingshot a motorcycle or a car?
The Slingshot is federally classified as a three wheeled motorcycle. Most states classify it as an Autocycle, which means that only a valid driver's license is needed to drive the vehicle.
How safe is the Slingshot?
The Slingshot provides the exhiliration of open-air motoring and proximity to the road like nothing else - and all without needing to know how to operate a motorcycle. The federal classification as a three wheeled motorcycle means it is not required to meet auto safety standards. Like any motor vehicle, drivers should proceed with caution following all local traffic laws.

You can rent a Slingshot at several locations through Polaris Adventures. These locations are specifically located for convenient access to some of the best riding you can find.
How much does a Slingshot cost?
